well, that's called "spit up" not throw up. if it's white, it happens a lot, trust me! She'll be fine unless she does it to frequently. THEN, you should take her somewhere.

If she is fine now and sleeping leave her be. Keep her well hydrated while she is awake with 15ml's of water every 15minutes to avoid dehyration. If she does not wet a nappy in 6-8 hours she could be becoming dehydrated.

If she develops a fever then give her INFANT paracetamol or nurofen.
If she continues vomitting persistantly for a few hours then take her to the doctor/hospital
If she becomes floppy, lethargic, unconscious, develops a rash, take her to the dotor/hospital straight away.

Most likely she has a bout of gastroenteritis ('gastro') and will be fine. She may still vomit a few more times but if she stops vomitting gradually just keep the water into her and she will more than likely be fine.
If her symptoms persist or get worse then take her to the doctor.

best of luck

No over the counter meds.

Just keep an eye on her. Make sure she doesn't dehydrate. This can happen quickly for a little one.Make sure she drinks so she isn't dehydrated.

If it continues call Mon. morning. Unless you are lucky to have a doc with sunday hours.

She may most likely have a stomach virus and it took me many doc visits to learn that you need to let it "RUN it's course".

Keep the food light. Juice, jello, soup. To make certain she can hold it down.

Just to add: One of my daughters dehyrated in just 3 hours when she was that age. But it was a constant vomiting. Every 20 min-1/2 hour.

My little one, then 2 was vommitting a lot also once. I brought her in and though in the doc's office she had tears they were a bit delayed. He decided to put her on intravenus. She didn't dehyrated but her blood sugar went down alot and she got lethargic.

Check her temp and make sure she's not feverish. If she is feverish, you can give her Baby Tylenol or Baby Advil to bring her fever down. Or, lay wrapped ice packs on her head and maybe a cool bath if her fever is like 102 or less. If it's higher than 102 go to the doctor.

Don't give her any food until morning and then only easy to digest food. If she's thirsty, give her small sips of cold water.

If she is sick tomorrow too, you could pick up some "Pedialyte" which is an electrolyte balancing drink. Kids like it and it will help her feel better.

If she's still nauseated in the morning you could also try giving her some chewable gravol for babies/toddlers.

However, if these symptoms persist for more than a couple of days, go to see her doctor.

you do not need to give her any medication....she threw up. Keep up liquids and a normal diet thoudh stay away from too much dairy. Mkae sure she is having 6 wet nappies a day and if still vomitting in 24 hrs then visit the doctor. If no wet nappy in 4-5hrs then go to the ER

Clean her up and watch her, if she seems fine, no temp or lethargy then it may have been something she ate (18 mo pick up dead flys and eat them, lol) or she was too full. If at any stage she gets a temp, or really tired, not eating or drinking then I would take her to a Doctor or emergency room.
Hope that helps.

Does she have a fever? If so, give her some infant's Tylenol. Hopefully the sleep will help and she'll be better by morning. Hopefully it's not the flu and just something that she ate. Also, in the morning, keep her hydrated...lots of water.
