I didn't know you could make a heart on here, but I know all kinds of html on Myspace, which is I guess what you are talking about.

There are two different kinds of stars, the filled in ones and the outlines.

The two codes are < font face=wingdings > & para ; < /font > and < font face=wingdings > & laquo ; < /font > (without the spaces, of course.)

use winodws Charcter Map.

Start->All Programs->Accessories->System tools->Charcter Map

using this tool and selecting different fonts installed on ur windows u can see the character code of every character within the selected font.

Wingdings, Wingdings 2 and Wingdings 3 contain many symbolic characters including heart and star ;)

For a keyboard reference look @ the windows charmap. It's in accessories->system tools. If it's not there then you'll need to install it from add/remove accessories option.
