Doubtful. I know he must have had a good enough car to get on the pole but Martin Truex Jr. and Jeff Gordon both have great cars and Gordon is the defending winner at the track, due to his first win in the spring race. Soo I see another repeat in his near future.

I don't think so. Watch how quickly the #1 car gets ahead of the #99. If that happens too soon, Carl is screwed, because with that in mind, that doesn't even include the two behemoths, Jimmie and Jeff.

At this point of the season any one but Jimmie or Jeff would be refreshing. But realisticly look for a top 5 for Carl.

Yes, he doesn't easily relinquish a lead. Other cars will get better throughtout the race but Edwards' crew cheif is as good as any.

Possibly.
Too bad more didn't answer this. You could have a Best Answer pool, with the winner being whoever gets the right answer or the top placing entrant among those who play. (you'd have to keep a list to prevent an editted in answer in the post-race inspection ... lol)
If you decide to do so I make my entry Matt Kenseth.
Excluding troubles, you know when he qualifies that well he's a major factor.

No, Carl is a good driver but Kevin Harvick has the track and the new car figured out.

I think he will get a top 5 finish but not win, though he certainly has a shot at it.
