I think a better name for your dog would be 'Hitler'.
An Anti-G-d basher and her mutt Hitler.
Or, how about Amadinijad who happens to be the Iranian president. Or maybe Hillary?

Hi Simone
It would be in poor taste to name an animal after the savior of billions of people through out the world, it might cause a lot of heart ache, and may be some physical pain. You and all other people are entitle to their beliefs and opinions, but not at the cost of hurting others, weather it be spiritual or physical.
So give it some thought before you name your dog. I mean it is your dog and your choice, but don't do it just to piss the religious world off, there are way more of us then there ever will be of non-believers. Choose another name would be my answer....
Take care....cya....

I thought it would have been cool pronounced Hey-soos. Why call him Jesus if you don't believe in him? Some people might be offended by that. It's too bad you feel that way. I have a feeling one day your going to regret your feelings. That dog won't save you, but Jesus can. I hope you at least believe in God. But hey, this is just my opinion.

I think you are trying to pick a fight by insulting the name of my God. Jesus is my savior, hero, friend, companion, teacher. I hope you get a kick out of it, because that's all you'll get. I feel sorry for you; if you knew the real Jesus your whole life and world view would be so different. You would have better things to do than pick a fight with strangers for entertainment.

When you are outside yelling out his name, don't be surprised if people think that you are hurt or recieving some kind of message from on high though.
I named a dog "spook" once......later I found out that is a racist term (I honestly had no idead at the time), when I was calling out his name when he had gotten out of the house and angered some black people that were walking by.

It is a terrible name for a dog. Why live with the shame of calling your dog Jesus everytime you call him?

i think you should try to show a little bit more class than that. it's an incredibly disrespectful idea, and you only make yourself look foolish. i've known people who named their dogs after racial slurs. in my opinion, that's not half as distasteful as what you plan on doing.

I don't know. In my experience dogs seem to quite pleased with themselves as it is. The last thing we need is a dog with a messiah complex.

Yes , you may name your dog as you wish , But if it is Jesus ,
Then you'll have to change your own NAME as Satan.

I think its sacrilegious. Even if you don't believe in God its disrespectful to the 95% of the population which does.
