we are all entitled to our own opinions, but it's HIS HEAD.
at his age (you sound fairly young; i assume your husband is, too) imagine going so thin you look bald. it has to be a horrible feeling. desperate times call for desperate measures. if he gets tired of it he might let it grow in a little bit so he can have at least some 'peach fuzz' to play with.

If he's already going bald, it's probably best to just get it over with and cut the rest off. I think it will just be a pain to try to maintain it. I'm sure that no matter what he will still look good. Support him because hair loss no matter the situation is a hard thing for all people to go through.

Support him in what he wants. He'll be happier and you will too. I don't think you would want him dictating every time you wanted to cut or tint your hair. Or does he? It will always grow back and he will get tired o shaving it. That's a daily job and for some people twice a day.
And depending on why he is losing his hair a very good nutritional diet could restore his hair loss. I put my son on a nutritional supplement and his hair started coming back.

If you can add some products to his tolietries, I would recommend getting him into a complete system of shampoos, conditioners, scalp treatments and supplements. Nioxin professional products are used in professional salons to stimulate healthy hair and scalp for men and women.
It's a complete system that encourages and stimulates growth. Visit their website for information on the products, as well as on line advice from a live chat with a Nioxin rep. The website can tell you where to buy Nioxin at a salon or beauty supply in your area.
It certainly can't hurt taking a few preventitive measures. He may see a noticeable difference a few short months.

I just shaved my head for the same reason. I don't like comb overs or the old man ring. I have kept it very short for years. I would recommend getting him a "headsled" and support him. Has he always agreed with your hair styles?

My dad is bald and we always kiss him on the head and make fun of him:) and he likes that! The most important thing is the happiness of our loved ones. isn't it? so let him be, maybe he'll just get bored and grow them later:) men love to do the contrary!

If it's a big deal, $10,000 will get him the hairplug operation.
