Im not one to delve into abortion a whole lot. But I was thinking about the actual process. Not the machines, sterile environment, etc. But a baby; the beginnings of life growing in a woman's body...I'm not looking at the "im a woman, I have a choice argument, or the Im not ready to have children argument, but from a biological, female and natural position, doesnt it seem like the antithesis of what is supposed to be? Women are bringers of life, its a beautiful thing. Doesnt it seem bizaare to be a part of that beauty and to throw it away? Thoughts?

I knew I should have mentioned the miscarriage clause lol. My point is to CHOOSE to be a part of an abortion, not a natural occurance of it.

Dances, I didnt want to debate the issue of a spontaneous abortion, my point was that creating a baby; a growing baby in the womb (regardless of circumstances) is as natural as anything. I am not here to debate prochoice or prolife, or lung cancer for that matter. It is not natural, no matter what type of bow you want to put on it.

You just asked "is it natural?" and then decided that you didn't want to talk about an abortion when it's "a natural occurrence of it." Make up your mind.

If you don't have the money, or the resources, or the help, or the ability to raise a baby, you tell ME where the "beauty" is, because I don't see it. While a child may be beautiful, there's precious little that's "beautiful" about the process if you're not ready for it.

Lung cancer is natural; diabetes is natural; heart disease is natural; broken bones are natural; diptheria is natural. Just because something is "natural" doesn't mean it's GOOD. If you want "natural," then eat food that hasn't been cooked, don't get vaccines, don't wear clothing, don't live in a house, don't drive a car, don't use tools. If we don't use our BRAINS and our ability to shape our lives, then we're no different from animals.

Abortion is natural if your body does it for you. Anyone ever had a really bad period that came a couple days late? That may have been a very early-term miscarriage. Many pregnancies that result in embryos with genetic mutations spontaneously terminate. However, I do believe that it goes against the body's natural state to terminate a pregnancy after conception. If that baby has the potential to be born, if that baby would survive to birth, there is someone out there who will take care of the baby. Adoption is a beautiful thing. So yes, it does seem bizarre to throw away the beauty of life because it's inconvenient. (I have a different opinion when the mother's life is in danger).

I do not see it as unnatural. Animals do not have abortions, because for obvious reasons, they cannot. What they do instead, is either cannibalize the young, or abandon it. Abandoning children was even done in early human history. If a child was deemed unfit, it was left out for the animals. If they could not support the child, it was left out for the animals.

Using abortion is much better than those options. Animals cause drawn out suffering and pain. Humans end it quickly with abortion.

While abortion in and of it self is an unnatural thing (so is a lot of things we do, like surgery) it is done for very natural reasons.

It would seem that "throwing life away" is in fact, a very natural thing.

The human species has progressed by being unnatural. Computers, surgery, medicine, TVs, telephones, electricity, paper even, and so many more things. While the act of abortion is not natural, because it cannot be done in the natural world, getting rid of young is.

I would like to Clarify that I do not support abortion as a means of birth control. That is horrendous.
--------

Edit:

I would like to add that I also only believe in abortion during the first trimester. After that, it should NOT be done unless the mother is at risk.

Abortion is not natural, because there are plenty of women who can't even have children ,who would love to have children. but you have women who can get pregnant and aboard the baby! Life is from God above just to think that women are killing Doctors, Lawyers, Preachers, Teachers, etc. It sadden me to know that some of those babies didn't make it here to live their life as God had planed them to. But one thing for sure is that those babie's are back home with their Heavenly Father Jesus Christ where they will be loved forever Amen. Minister Buchanan.

If she's too a techniques alongside, then she's too a techniques alongside. How'd she get pregnant after the 1st deformed muddle? i assume she have been given out the door back or something authentic? you're in basic terms going to could permit her have the muddle, there is not something you're able to do at this element. then you're in basic terms going to could save a particular eye on her that she would not get out or circulate close to any pussycats back. perchance lock her up in a visitor mattress room or your mattress room with each little thing she desires so she's type of remoted. there is not any RU-486 for cats, and it would in basic terms be stable authentic interior the commencing up anyhow. quite atypical that all and sundry her kittens have been deformed. this is a shame. stable success, and in basic terms save her faraway from any and all different cats until you may get her spayed.

The true fact is that abortions are another name for a mother murdering her baby.

Mommy’s Baby
By Mike McCracken
A baby gets conceived today
Unexpectedly
Who’d of believed
Mommy, I’m your baby

Mommy knows about me
She doesn’t seem too happy
Don’t like the way it feels
Because it’s real

Mommy wakes up sick
I’m sorry mommy
I accidentally kick
Please forgive me

She calls the abortion Doctor
Helplessly, I lay here
Mommy please don’t kill me
I’m your baby

I’m starting to grow
Mommy, I love you
Just wanted you to know
And I want to tell you

We are at the abortion clinic
She won’t go through with it
Mommy, how could you kill me?
I’m your baby.

Abortion is just another name for murdering your unborn- children.

Women have their own personal reasons for not wanting to keep the baby. I'm an atheist, but agree that the Bible says it pretty well when it states that life begins at the first breath. While I don't necessarily agree with this (it's my own personal philosophy that life begins when a developing fetus becomes self-aware), but the point is that it's still the woman's body and still the woman's property. Birth is a beautiful thing, yes, and obviously none of us would be here without it. But the fact of the matter is that it should be up to the mother.

It's not exactly natural, but it sure is convenient.

That's what progression as a species is all about: things get easier and easier as people get smarter and smarter.

You can only guess how natural selection fits into my previous statement.

I see your point however, we are the first species that can actually control our own birth cycle. Our earth is an ever shrinking pitrie dish. Who's to say that we as a species are not merely reacting on an unconcious level to the fact that we are beginning to stretch our rescources pretty thin?
Not to mention the fact that as beautiful as you make it sound many folks simply are NOT FIT to introduce their genes into the pool much less rear those genes in a proper fasion.

But perhaps I am to pragmatic...

Sorry good face... just ehhhh... yup... maybe.

Yeah, that's how I think of it too.
It's a growing living organism. Separate but dependant on his or her mother.
To stick scissors in it's head would be killing something beautiful and very alive. And completely defenseless.
