K so 2nite I may have made the biggest mistake ever. I had coffee with a guy... we meant nothing of it. then we saw his mom coming out of the parking lots. She apparently saw us. So i hid so she wouldnt see me. and now she knows.. and now hes gonna get it 2nite ... I feel sooo bad. because we meant nothing by it. at ALL! I just wanted 2 bless him.. but I feel bad bc i feel like we were sneaking around.. but did nothing wrong.
HELP should I talk 2 her about it?

its hard 2 explain cuz I cant go into much detail.
But his mother is strict with her sons. And I want 2 respect that, but I dont see any harm in going out for coffee....
I just feel like he shouldnt get the blame. its just not fair.

If you were hiding, you must have felt guilt.
Had honesty been first and foremost on your mind, you would have never hid, yet you tried to deceive her by hiding.
Had it been an innocent affair, you would have stepped up, right in front of her and him and told her so.
So what were you hiding for?

Out side of America I can't advise you. In America I have a better guess that culturally and other forces your just worried about his mother for appearing to be sneaking - when nothing was going on. Of course being open and inviting her to coffee would have been best. Possibly. Also his and your age, he knows why mom would be upset.
Many things to talk about in open neutral space. No more hiding activities is good start. Family rules apply to you and him, I think? so please talk about them.
Your mother could help. Rereading this - are you both young? Then there are rules and customs families have for coffee and sneaking.
He's gonna get it? This means you broke your and his family rules? Get your mom and the four of you talk this out.
Don't bless someone without knowing family customs, either.

What? Is the guy married or something? Are you married? Is his mom the town gossip who jumps to conclusions? You've left out some vital parts of this story because what you've written here leaves nothing to be upset about. Yeah, go ahead and try to explain the misunderstanding to his mom. But it is your own fault if she thinks you were sneaking around, because you were the one who tried to hide from her. And for the record, "I just wanted to bless him" sounds like the lamest excuse ever. You might want to work on that story. Try, "He asked me to pray with him and offer some spiritual guidance." Sounds a bit more mature and less sexually suggestive than an ambiguous term like bless.

I would try to tell her the truth, If you were sneaking around, I don't know why you had to sneak around, I don't have the whole story, The best thing to do right now, would be to sit down and have a serious talk with God, You should pray forgiveness, since you feel convicted, and earnestly ask God what you should do.

thats just silly. what decent mother would go off at her son for having COFFEE with a girl? i'd understand if she caught you having sex or something but.... no.
