I am not passionate about making music. I like some music, but I don't feel musically inclined or creative. I am just interested in the rewards that come with being a rockstar. I am aware that there are some drawbacks, but I want the rewards really badly.
In order for me to be a rockstar, I would have to be a poseur. I would have to assume the rockstar image in order to be accepted and fit in. I really just want the attention from girls and the money and the lifestyle of a rockstar. I am not a great musician and I don't feel like there are melodies in my head waiting to pop out. Stereotypically, I play the guitar. I am willing to sacrifice my true self for the rewards of being a rockstar.
I feel like I have lost who I truly am in my obsession with becoming a rockstar. I have invested so much time and energy in this that I feel like I can't turn back, even though I'm not passionate about it.
What do you think will be the end result of this? I am serious. Is this a good idea? Advice?

am sorry to say that this is sheer fantasy - why not expend all this energy into something you actually like to do. hard work can get you the money and kindness will get the attention from girls.
you need to devote yourself to a dream that has a chance of succeeding

It always good to dream but it's just a dream. You say that your not a great musician and you don't feel melodies running in your head. May be you could find something related to music and follow through with it. Most rock stars wind up on drugs and eventually die. Only a few make it and most of those are so messed up they don't know where they are half the time. Its not worth the risk. But life goes on! Good Luck!

So, if I'm catching you right, your strongest desire is to absorb your life in the lifestyle in order to gain money and girls with the reputation of being known, so you can be fitted for hearing aids at an early age.

From another generation and crowd, have you hung out around the circuses and carnivals? Have you met the "carnies" aged before their time, with no solid relationships, no home to go home to, their skin aged decades beyond their age. Rough, tough people who are tired of living, and moving on from town to town. Before there were rock-stars there were carnies and the life isn't all that different. The money? The blown wads of cash gone to parties and drugs, blown health and std's.

For 999,999 out of 1,000,000 who start of to be a rock-star only about 1 will live a positive and successful life.
Consider getting good grades, heading to do your best in college, and get together with friends and a guitar on week-ends - live for a reputation of productivity, a savings account and a home, and a loving family of your own that supports you in your hobbies. It's worth considering, to work toward rewards of a lifestyle that will be with you into your old age.

Is it a good idea?
What you do on Saturday nights, is up to you.
And what you get up and do on Monday mornings is what you make of yourself.

If you have really good looks or know someone who's a producer you could become a musician with no talent. Like in a boy band or something.
