I have mixed feelings...what time of the day are you asking about? when i am at the grocery and hear someone bi*&*ing about what we are doing in Iraq? then I am angry! and Proud! because who is that person to say a damn thing, when we have soldiers over there giving up time with their families, seeing their children being born, daughters getting married, sons graduating, and so forth to give them the freedom to be able to say those stupid things and i am filled with pride that we have the military we do the are willing to give all they do for our freedoms. or are you talking about when i go to bed at night, and i cry, because i am alone, and i want so much for the man i love with all my heart and soul to have his arms around me through the night and to wake up with me in the morning, and i am sad that his is 8000 miles away, fighting for my family and for you and for the one who continue to object to this war , to live in this country of freedom we love and i know he is doing what he loves. and i am so proud of him. or when i wake up, and the phone rings, its my son, he just wants to say hi mom, i love you, and i know, i only have 2 months before he leaves for the first time a combat zone, my son, Dear God, please let him come home safe,(so he will see his baby for the first time) what do i feel, terrified! and proud! i raised a wonderful young man who is proud to serve his country and fight for our freedoms. I am proud to be an American! I thank each and every one of our troops, past and present! and there is such a huge spectrum of emotions that come along with that! those are just some of my feelings about the war on terrorism taking place in Iraq.

I thought invading Iraq was a really stupid idea. We were already engaged in Afghanistan, bin Laden hadn't been caught yet, and the evidence of WMDs in Iraq was weak. But now that we are there, we need to stay to provide security for the Iraqi people until the Iraqis can provide it for themselves. I believe withdrawing from from Iraq before it has been restabilized would be a bigger mistake than invading it was.

We HAVE to win!

This is the second time we have been there; if we do not finish we will be back again facing an even stronger military.

Plus you have the added fact that if we leave they will follow us home.

Whether or not you agree with why we went in is now 100% irrelevant. We have to win or we win lose respect of the world.

You notoice I did not say "win the love of the world", they will never love us as long as we are on top. Since I do not wish to relinquish first place I would just as soon have their respect.

WAR in the whole is wrong,it's not the solution,The USA ,Britain and other nations are all part of the New World Order, People need to wake up and open their eyes...........September 11th was an inside job, controlled demolition was used to take down the Twin Towers,NEVER IN HISTORY HAS STEEL BEEN MELTED BY FIRE AND BUILDING CAME DOWN SO FAST IN HISTORY UNDER FIRE.........IMPOSSIBLE........Pearl Harbor and many past wars ,The governments are using fear to manipulate people's minds, they won't stop at anything to rule the world. They want to bring the world to One Nation under their rule.Do some research, where's the proof that Osama Bin Laden carried out Sept. 11th,where is the proof that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction..........There's none ,the USA Govt. stress that they BELIEVE,...........Yes many lives were lost on Sept 11th,2001 but it's the biggest investment for the USA Govt.they won't stop at anything even if it means killing their own,PPL in USA gotta wake up.........USA Govt.......are creating their enemies supporting their enemies so war can be started and the one's in power along with other freemasoners are grabbing the riches...........A student who is doing physics and science at school could see that how those buildings came down was because of explosives......we all gotta come together and stop wars because that's what will rule out all of humanity.......Love is the answer........Why do you think Muslims have so much hatred for USA.........their children lost, families, everyone, because of the war USA wanted to start in the first place........Now when many people lost their families on 9/11 everyone wasn't looking at the facts or nothing, everyeone was like WAR,let's deal with the terrorists, but who really are the terrorists?Billions of dollars being spent everyday for WAR in Iraq,Soldiers dying,so many soldiers wanna come home but they can't .....People in Govt know what's going on but can't say or they get killed.......TALK ABOUT FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND A FREE AMERICA,IT'S NOT SO ANYMORE............do your homework..

Enough being said do your own research

WAR IS NOT THE ANSWER

It was an important and necessary war.

My only regret is that we didn't wrap this up back in 1991 when we were there the first time. We should never have had to go back.

It was a really stupid mistake courtesy of Mr. Bush that we now have an obligation to fix. I don't think we can fix it without a responsible withdrawal.

All in all, if I could turn back time, I'd rather see Bush attack a country that actually poses a serious threat to global stability - like Iran.

Hmmmmm. I don't really think we should be there. However, from the point of view of a combat medic in the army..... I was glad to go over there and be a part of saving the lives of soldiers that are over there. Since we are there. I might as well help.

I feel bad that we have to have a war but we have to stop these crazy terrorists from trying to murder us. They have declared war on the US so we have to protect ourselves and the only way to do it is to keep them over there. I wish that we could bring our guys home but only if we can get rid of the threat against our country.
