I support the legalization of marijuana and I am a Christian who would NOT use it. I used to, and it messes with my mind! lol I don't like it for myself. But I think that the laws are more harmful than the drug. And don't get me started on alcohol!

No, I would not.
The legality of something does not negate the detriment of it.
The overall harm done by partaking in marijuana is too great.

Every potsmoker I know is a Christian, except for one Jewish woman.
Then again, I live in Mississippi so my statistical sample group is always going to be skewed toward Christian majorities.
I don't use it but would vote to legalize.

Science proves it is no good. Just like tobacco. Can you keep pleasure in what you know will destroy life?

People who know about the benifits of smoking pot will smoke it... it does'nt make any difference what religion they are, people who are going to smoke it are going to smoke it.

Hey... in my opinion its biblical... "God gave us all the seed bearing plants and herbs to USE..." hehehe
Although, I have been told that in some of the earlier translations of the bible in which the OT talks of witchcraft or sorcery being wrong that it actually meant drugs... but I dunno... personally I think legislating against victimless crimes is unconstitutional.
