That's not the confusing question, the confusing question is which comes first. But, to answer your not confusing question, I will say that the egg comes from the chicken, who comes from the egg.

Sorry, I know this isn't exactly the forum for this type of answer, but God made the chickens and the roosters and gave them the ability to create the egg. So the chicken came first.

definitely both came from God. but for the sake of reason, chicken was first made by God and for them to multiply eggs are being hatched.

Okay u see the egg came 1st 'coz dinosaurs came 1st didn't they n they laid eggs sooooooooo..Eggs came first n then the Dino's died and Mrs.Chic came along and laid an egg! So the Answer: The egg(Dino's egg)came first! Hehehehehe............ :)

I think maybe the chicken, beacuase an egg cannot hatch itself, it has to have warmth.
