"va" really an indication of power. As it's SI units it can be replaced with symbol/unit of power W (watts)
k means *1000
so you're looking at 1000W
To get the current you need to rearrange, and plug the known values into the following equation:
Power (W)= Current (A) * Voltage (V)
by CONVENTION "va" is used to indicate "apparent power" and is only used with AC . In this case the Current and Voltage are RMS values (Root Mean Square). The mean voltage of normal AC is 0, so we need a different kind of average to get a usefull value. RMS is just such an average
With a sine wave the peak values are about 1.414(square root 2) of the RMS values. The value quoted as the voltage of an AC voltage is usually RMS voltage. with AC just use the equation given above with the "voltage" and power, and you'll get the RMS current.
There is a more complicated technique for finding the current with AC (using complex numbers), as the relationship between Current and voltage there depends on frequency and impedance (much like a resistance, but only for AC)

KVA is a unit of apparent power, we can determine the amperage if the nominal voltage is given.it is the product of volatge and maximum current can drive or witheld.

This KVA rating is for transformers and generators. Rated voltage is less then current is high, voltage is high current is high and conversion to KW multiply with power factor.

1Kva means one kilo volt amps (ie) 1000 X volt X amps.
If it is 120 volt suply, Amps = 1000 devided by 120 = 8.33.
If it is 220 volt suply, Amps = 1000 devided by 220 = 4.54.
Similarly 1000 devided by the amount of voltage suply, gives you the ampherage. There are various voltage suply availble like 240, 480, 3300, 4666 volts etc...,
