I have no patience for using "2" instead of "to" in a non-chat environment. Sorry, but you can and should type in accepted English.

No religion can ever bring peace as all religions are based on false premises.

If you want to talk about the Jews, then SAY the Jews.

We were not chosen to be superior; we were chosen to receive the Torah, and to be an example to others in a time when monotheism was a new idea. Since a couple of billion people now know about God, I'd say we did our jobs.

Try not to look QUITE so ignorant next time you ask a question; it's unbecoming, at best.

Religion serves to divide people, not unite them. There is no way you can view all humans as equals with you, and equally deserving of the right to find happiness in their own ways, if you regard yourself as being chosen by some deity for some special purpose. If you are chosen, then it means the others are not, and that automatically makes them less human than you. How can peace result from an attitude like that?

Not everyone is rich, Not everyone is healthy .... if in a country u dont accept the superiority of the government, there cant be peace ... if in a house u dont accept the superiority of the parents, there cant be peace .... All collisions take place only n only wen things r brought to the same level ... just lower one n u saved both ... (Thats how religions work)

Wait a minute . If you are referring to the Jews you are wrong. NOBODY said they are superior. But are they chosen ? Yes , but they were only chosen to be the bloodline that Christ would come through. Not chosen to be superior. Seems to me you are the only one trying to ignite resentment and hatred.

The Christian religion should believe this concept of being a chosen people about the Jewish people, because its clearly stated in the Bible, so I would think that would bond the 2 groups together.

I dont know many religions that claim superiority over another.

wiccan
I meant I dont know many religions that claim any group of people are superior to other people. Not ideas or beliefs, but the actual people. Believing your religion is right doesnt

Wiccan,
by your answer and your own logic you seem to think you are superior to many other religious people

Atheism is a faith by means of fact all understanding is concept. understanding, and records is inconsequential. its merely random records. with a view to renowned something precis, is to have faith it. and any understanding of something greater effective planar is precis. by means of fact all nevertheless you're saying its not genuine, you're saying it additionally exists. Its extremely a exciting time to make certain how squirmy Atheists get once you employ progressed Philosophy to show something obtrusive and straightforward out. not all do, yet a lot look merely like the Christians once you're saying "Evolution is genuine." Its extremely exciting.

all religions believe that they are the chosen people and that they must force everyone to believe in it with them. It just pisses people off. If people could believe what they want and not force it on other cultures-the world would be a happier place.

Quoted: "I dont know many religions that claim superiority over another."

You've gotaa be kidding me, Cad...I hear "this is the only way" ALL the time, ad nauseum. I believe the religion that speaks to you and works for you is the correct one for you.

You make an interesting point. What modern religion doesn't refer to their converts as "the chosen"?
