Mostly good suggestions here already. Let me reiterate, though....DON'T TOUCH IT! If it is really inside your eyelid and not at the edge, it is more than likely a chalazion rather than a stye, which occur at the margin of the lid (upper or lower). There isn't really much you can do other than warm compresses several times a day. It may get larger before it gets smaller and it may not ever go away, though it should become less painful before long.
Chalazions can become rather unsightly, but there's not much to be done about that.

You may want to pay a visit to your doctor about it. After several days of compresses, it may drain on its own, which can get REALLY annoying, but, again, don't touch it or try to force it to drain.
Good luck!

It's a stye or however you spell it. DO NOT TOUCH YOUR EYE! The more you touch it, the bigger it gets. Use a warm compress every night for 20 mintues.
If you get the often, you can go to the doctor and they will give you some medicine.
If you use eye make-up (Sorry if you're a guy you can stop reading) make sure you don't share it with people. The brushes you use should be shampooed. Also if you use eyeliner, dip the tip in rubbing alcohol. Don't use eye make-up while you have the stye.
They normally go away within 4 or 5 days. I would honestly suggest just leaving it alone, the "home remedies" or whatever can make it worse.

Hi. I too have what I think is a chalazion (a very small white-ish bump) on the inside of my left eye. What happened to washing your eye with boric acid? Is that still a remedy and if so, do they still sell those boric acid eye baths in the pharmacy store? I eat rasins often, so that's not working. I'll try the wet tea bag compress.

it sounds like you have a sty. a sty is basically a small infection in the glands of your eyelid. i get them all the time since i put eye makeup on everyday. a simple home remedy is put a warm tea bag (ANY tea works) over the eye that has the sty everyday until the sty is completely gone. there is an ingredient in tea that reduces the pain, swelling, and eventually gets rid of it completely. it seriously works.

Probably a Sty. It is an infection and your body will fight it off.
Buy yourself a box of raisins and eat them as a snack for a few days and the sty will go away. They will have the nutrition your body need to fight this infection. I like them so I have no problem. Eat them several times a day. Don't go crazy but don't eat 2 raisins and think the job is done.

Whether it is a stye or a chelazion, it should respond to warm soaks (with a cloth) three times daily. If you have eye pain or a vision problem, then go to a doctor.

probablly just a sty. Not much you can do. There are a few over the counter eye ointments that are greesy. They will reduce the friction to the area.
