More than probable I would say !! Not only do coffee and caffeine containing beverages (ie: tea, sodas and soft drinks) big dehydrators but they also do a mighty job of robbing our bodies of the precious B complex of vitamins which are soooooo important for healthy neural, immune and digestive functioning. Other things it will rob you of are inositol & biotin (essential for healthy hair), potassium (essential for delivering oxygen to the brain), zinc (essential for protein synthesis and collagen formation - healthy skin), will inhibit calcium and iron absorption (calcium depletion in young bones is self explanatory and will also cause severe mood swings and insomnia and reduced iron absorption will cause iron deficiency anaemia and fatigue and exhaustion amongst other things!!)....... and lastly but surely not leastly it will deplete you of Vitamin K (which is essential for the formation of prothrombin which is a blood clotting chemical) and vitamin B3 (Niacin) - which is vitally important for a healthy nervous system and brain functioning......... Geez, sorry, just a bit passionate about people being healthy and happy and would like to applaud you for thinking for yourself and asking for help!!

Take care of you♥

Anything that messes with your hormone levels can stunt your growth. Caffeine doesnt. So no, it won't

But you don't need it unless your doing 4 in the morning until 12 at night days. Don't bother.

Honestly, if you need more energy, start running. Running every day energizes people wayy more than caffeine, and it gets you in good shape. No one is too young to run.

I wake up at 6, go to college until 3, workout until 4:30 then work until 10. I don't need caffeine. I highly doubt you do.

That is so stupid! I hate seeing questions answered by people with no medical facts. I started drinking coffee at 9 yrs old and I am 30 and now I stand a proud 5' 2". Common, get real!

Drinking or eating anything with caffeine in it can stunt your growth. Coffee has a lot of caffeine in it, and has a better chance of stunting your growth. That's why you hear about it a lot. I'm 13, drink coffee almost daily, and I'm average height right now (5'5''). I wouldn't worry about it that much, but don't drink it excessively.

I drank soda and coffee when I was a child.... 7 - till today
40 mg caffine and 80 mg of caffine each

I also took 60 mg of ritalin a as a child until I was 15 (its supposed to stunt your growth too)

and I started smoking at a very very young age
(I am embaressed about it but I started when I was 9 - but I couldn't inhale until I was about 12)

AND I AM SIX FOOT TWO and 3/4
31 years old

no. its just a pure myth. i literally drank coffee (my parents didnt know about it) when i was really young @ my grandparents house. i was probably around 7 or 8 years old. I'm 5'4 1/2". (average height) and when i was in middle school (still growing) i would drink it almost everyday to help me stay awake, i still drink it from time to time still today.

No, that is unfounded. But you will be the only 9/10 year old with coffee stained teeth.

yes but not as much as McDonalds. Fatty foods hype up the petuitary gland causing faster growth but less growth. This is why american height is shrinking. No one seems to care about their kids eating fast food though...
