Officially, I have a high school diploma and a few college classes. I am 35 years old and a stay-at-home mother, an occupation which does not require a degree. If I had need one of one, I could get one. However, I have no desire to waste my husband's hard-earned money on an education for which I have no need.

Education need not come with a piece of paper, which is little more than proof of said education, should one feel the need for it. While there is great value in institutionalized higher education, there is equal value in self-education. Consider some of the greatest people in history who lacked a formal education, such as Benjamin Franklin, George Washington and countless others.

I will be graduating in May of 2008 with 2 bachelor's degrees, one in criminal justice and one in biology. I plan on hopefully getting a master's degree in forensic science, but I think I'll take some time off before I go to grad school.

BS in computer science...
after college went into the navy to travel the world...
came back and did the whole microsoft certification thing and have been stuck behind a desk ever since. Can't complain, at least it's not manual labor.

Would like to go back to school, use my GI Bill and get a degree in something more science like.

Not quite a true athiest- full tilt naturist. just sit in nature as much as I can and turn the mind off. best 'religion' i've ever had. full of love, joy, community, and life.

Masters degree in ecology / biology and fine arts.

Sounds like you're trying compare intellect - one of only millions of attributes of people - of "atheists" vs. "Christians" (or other religious group).

Even this is junk though - All thats important is your heart, your mind, your soul and more importantly - what your actions are, how you treat others, do you care about anyone other than yourself, do you enjoy your life and live life to the fullest?

I've seen the worst & best of BOTH athiests and Christians - only difference is their dogma.

You can say you believe what ever you want, I do it too - whats important though isn't what you THINK you believe - but what your actions are. You can say you're Christian or Buddhist or Muslim all you want - but if your actions don't match, education or belief mean nothing.

I'm a senior in high school right now. In my experience, atheists tend to like science, and pursue fairly high level science degrees.
