ok so i just got that Audacity audio editor..but i have no idea how to use it.. i know how to put music on but if i try to do anything else i cant.. PLEASSEE HELPP

I don't know what exactly you're trying to do... You can import songs (mp3s) and edit them by highlighting them (make sure the song is completely STOPPED, not just paused). When the area is highlighted, you can choose to add effects or cut clips of the song. Once you're done editing it, Export it as an mp3 file. Open Audacity and click on the Help TAB to read the step-by-steps, tutorials, etc.
If the program doesn't have a Help TAB, look on the website for guidance.
Then, when you have a specific question, that is NOT covered there, please re-post.

so... what do you want to do? you can select stuff by dragging on the sound and add effects from the effects menu, use envelope tools, etc.
it's not really a question, is it?
