Take NJ Transit from Trenton and get out at Penn Station (New York). Connect to the "E" subway train (Queens) to express you to the Jamaica Center station ($2.00). From there you board the Airbus ($5) that will take you to all of the terminals of JFK.

There are several ways to do this...but I'll narrow it down to one. From JFK...you can take the Airtrain to the LIRR (Long Island Railroad) station then take the LIRR to NY Penn Station. (You can also take the subway to Penn Station...it is a little cheaper, but it'll take longer and LIRR is a nicer ride) NY Penn station is the last stop on LIRR going in that direction, so you can't miss it. After arriving @ NY Penn Station go upstairs to NJ Transit area. You can then get the NJ Transit train to Trenton, NJ...try getting an express train it's only about 5 stops.

Well, there are a couple of ways, I used to live in that area and you can do a couple of things.
1. Take NJ Transit to NY's Penn Station and then take either the subway out to Jamaica and JFK or via airport shuttle from Grand Central to JFK. (If I remember correctly).
2. Get the Airbus - there are various airport shuttles which you can look up on the web - Princeton Airporter and Olympic Limosine come to mind if memory serves.
3. By car, you take the Turnpike to 11a , to route 287/440 S , across Staten Island, over the Verazanno to the BQE, and then around where the Sunrise Highway starts, you will get to JFK.
