I think the Wii would becaus its cheap,its graphics are decent but not next gen,and has amazing gameplay that both yung and old would injoy.The ps2 well,,it has decent graphics but not the best compaired even to the Wii and xbox 360 and ps3,but it has had lots of games sold because theyr cheap, nothin much els, its a cheap game that has prity good gameplay but cheap,everything about it is cheap. the ps3 has good graphics but not much els. The xbox 360 has grate online stuff and good graphics but not much els eather. They all have one thing in comin, theyr only entertaining for just yong people and not much els so that leavs the Wii at number one. O and there price hase gon down to so that means mor people cane by them.

The 60 gb PS3 is the system I purchased. I never bought a 360, despite them slaughtering Sony from mid '06- '07 as far as selection of games...but it was an investment & risk that I think will be worth it .. I already have Guitar Hero III & a couple other games on it, & they have unbelievably good graphics .. better than 360, & as the years come by, it will catch up with great games.
360 was crap when it first started too .. you just have to give the systems you grew up with some faith that they'll carry on through the next generation of consoles!

other than your decision being completely uneducated, this is what is say, next gen war (ps2's not in there). The ps3 and Xbox 360 both have great graphics and online + a expanding great range of games. The Wii is next gen, but is not really as advanced, its fun...yes, but hardly any Wii games have a nice involving online feature. You will probably get bored of all your Wii games pretty fast, unless you have people to play with. Plus the ps3 (80,60,and 20 gig versions) have full backward compatibility with ps2 games, and ps1 games so the cheap games apply with that too. The Xbox 360 does have a outstanding online feature (which is paid) and some great games like its Rivel the ps3. The Wii is not the only one that only entertains older players, the ps3 and xbox 360 also have that popularity, but not as much. Overall i think my choice would out of the best 2 systems available either the Ps3 or the Xbox 360, and i personally choose the ps3 because of its extended features that i didnt maintain and all the range of games soon to come.

I own the 360, the Wii, and the PS2, and PS3.
My children play the Wii and the 360 far more than the playstaytions. My husband and I play the PS2,and 3 more than they do because that is the platform that supports the games we like to play. I will be happy when there are more titles for the PS3, but right now I play the PS2 more. each system has its pros and cons.. I dont think the 360 had much better capabilities than the ps3.. just more to offer right now.

PS3. Why? Not only does it have the most advanced graphics engine currently available in the market, it is also a Blu-Ray disc player! So you get 2-in-1 functionality! Why buy two separate appliances (i.e. Wii/360 and Blu-ray disc player) when there is an option in the market that gives you the best of both worlds! The PS3 is bang-for-the-buck, considering it's features and capabilities compared with the other "inferior" consoles.
Definitely PS3.. hands-down!!

i think of for intense game enthusiasts it extremely is gotta be the XBox 360. i've got not been on the PS3 yet cost smart it extremely is way off while in comparison with the XBox 360. in my view i've got have been given a Wii and that i like it yet i'm heavily thinking an XBox sometime interior the close to destiny.

I think is better if you wait one more year and see if playstation come out with a smaller verssion of the ps3 and for now just buy a ps2 ist only 124 is not that expensive

get a ps3 if you like action adventure and japanese made games
get a 360 if you like shooters sports games and western made games
get a wii if you just like light gameplay... if you're new to gaming and just want to test out the waters...

PS3, hands down. Most advanced, sturdy, durable, a lots of possibilites for a features expansion, great gameplay. From portable consoles - PSP (the fat one, it's more durable) - great portable media center.

I HAVE THE WII AND I THINK IT IS AWESOME BUT IT IS NOT CHEAPER CUZ U HAVE TO BUY EXTRA STUFF UN LEES U GET A COOL BUNDLE AND PPL SAY THE 360 IS BETTER SO WAIT TILL CRHISTMAS AND GET XBOX ARCADE FOR 270 DOLLERS.
DO NOT GET A PS3 BECAUSE THE ONLINE THINGS ARE SO CONFUSING AND THE GAMES SUCK AND THERE ARE SO MANY HARDRIVE PROBLEMS THEY HAVNT YET FIXED.
