Santa is popular for various reasons. You realize this answer yourself. Businesses Made Santa the icon he is today. As for that being a christian issue, some christians minimize santa in their christmas celebrations. For others his origination in deed and sainthood are enough to make him ok with them.

The best way i can think of explaining the later question is this. The holy trinity is like water. It can be in the form of liquid, solid and gas. Jesus was the flesh form, born about 2000 years ago. God always has existed and always will. he created the Earth and the heavens. If you have a glass of water, can you not pour some into a container and freeze it? then you have water and ice. At the same time some of the water is evaporating, a third form. Yet the liquid the vapor and the solid are all the same thing, water. God sent Jesus to the womb of Mary to be born fo flesh. God was still in the heavens. The holy spirit was and is everywhere. Yet they are all in one the same, the Holy Trinity.

Actually, Santa Claus is based on an actual Saint, so, technically, Santa works for the Infant Jesus.

Of course, Jesus, as God Created the earth. When Jesus Was Conceived in the Womb of the Virgin, He Came down from Heaven To Be our Saviour.

Santa Claus existed a long time ago. He was a generous man. It costs a lot of money to buy the toys he made and consumerism loves that. It only takes those who choose it. I still make my presents and they are as humble as Christ was and is.
God created the earth but the trinity WAS. Genesis 1:1 reads 'us'. Part of God (Jesus, namely His Son) came down to earth to save us but is also seperate from God because Jesus speaks to God on our behalf. God cannot be in the sight of sin so Jesus became sin for us and when He left the earth, He left the Holy Spirit for us. All 3 are 1. It is something to study, not so easily put into a nicely packed Yahoo answer.

Talking about "Jesos son of God", actually "everybody here are the son of The God ?". Why ?

Yea, if not, these of air, water and soon that free given to us without pay with any money or any other thing, is not giving to us by The God Allah.

Allah - the Only God was created Jesus not fregnane Jesus, Jesus is not also borne by Allah. But Jesus CREATED by Allah, single The most Creator. That why Allah the only God always very much love to all human being. Because the human being are the creation of Allah.

Turn your think to the right path, it will make more beautifull and enjoy our life.

God, the Father in Heaven created the world. Jesus is His Son. The Son of God.

Santa claus is a made up fictional character for little children.

The first answerer is wrong, you have forgotten..."In the beginning was the Word. And the Word was with God. And the Word was God." It is the secular world that has made Santa more popular than Jesus because it allows them to participate in the holiday (just like the Christians did when they started celebrating His birth at the time of the Winter Solstice, to give Christians something to celebrate during a pagan holiday). The birth of Jesus was not the beginning of Him or His existence. It was the beginning of His earthly manifestation.

I'm a Christian, and we don't believe in Santa Claus. And, never would I put anyone above Jesus!
Jesus is God in the flesh (God incarnate)
"In the BEGINNING was the WORD (Jesus) and the WORD (Jesus) was with God, and the WORD (Jesus) WAS GOD."
John 1:1
God made himself man, and came to earth to die on the cross to save us all from our sins. God is 3 persons in One God. (Father, Son, and Holy Ghost)
Jesus was in the beginning when the earth was created. But, when, God decided to save mankind from sin, He made Himself a little lower than the angels, and became man. And Jesus, (the Son) was born of a virgin (He was sinless) so He could come to earth and die. Jesus was FULLY GOD, AND FULLY MAN.
So, who created the earth?? God. Who is God?? Jesus.

So, are you down in the dumps over it? nicely, you have been in worse situations and you'd be returned, yet enable me please to proportion some thing of which you at the instant are not conscious. some weeks in the past, I took situation with you related to my concept which you have been bashing the president. You even published a query with regard to the incident questioning in case you may ask for forgiveness. remember? through that substitute with you I made a dedication to myself that i might now no longer respond to questions in a adverse way (as I had to yours with regard to the president). If i could no longer say something that i presumed replaced into constructive, i does no longer' say something. With possibly an exception or 2, I even have rigidly caught to that dedication. throughout the few weeks following, my "suited answer" proportion went from 4 to six%! I characteristic that to you. Yeah, you're a famous individual. Now, circulate have fun!!

well, Christmas is a usurped Pagan holy day anyway. was never Jesus' birthday. the conquering Catholic/Christians blended the traditions of many Pagan cultures into Christianity in order to make it easier to convert the heathens. not only did they usurped holy days and rituals and build Christian churches on Pagan sacred sites but they also morphed Pagan gods and goddesses into Christian saints.

according to historian's and astronomer's calculations Jesus is more likely to have been born in the Spring.

PS. thumbs down truth all ya like. history tells the tale anyway.
