I know an 8 year old who's diet consist of ceral for breakfast, with chocalate milk as a drink, then all day yogurt, maybe some french fries if you ask repeadly to eat something else. A growing boy to me needs more vitamins and minerals and some type of meat (protein), here's what's int he yogurt.

It's definitely not enough of a balanced diet, especially for a growing child. He should NOT be permitted to eat only what you're describing.

Of course its not. Children need alot of calories to keep growing healthy.
Advise the parents to talk to the kid's doctor. Also, search on the new food pyramid that is recommended.

That is one of the worst diets I have heard of.
Even adults shouldn't be doing this.
HELP NOW!!
