For sure. Technologies advance, parts are going to be cheaper, etc. Remember, PS2 was an expensive one in the beginning, now you can get it really cheap.

The mistake sony had make was making a expensive console which not many people can afford,so the answer is yes
if the ps3 does not sell they must drop the price in order for company to make money.

NO, not now they might next year on christmas for real cheap like $170. but dont get a ps3 if u have a choice get a 360 or a WII trust me it si better. but the ps3 is still really fun so buy if u can.

no the 40 gb just came out on Nov 2 for 400 dollars they dont need to lower it for a while maybe next year
