I have come across a motorized projector screen but it is missing the toggle switch to lower and raise the screen. All it has are three wires from the motor. A Red, White and Black.

My question is this: How do I create a switch that will raise and lower the screen while powering the motor?

are their any other questions i should ask?

What voltage is the motor supposed to run on?

You need to get an idea of how the motor is wired.

It is possible that you connect the power between one of the wires and either of the other two. If that is the case, you can determine which one is the common with an ohmmeter.
In that case you just need a spdt center off switch.

a simple toggle switch will work, although you must find out what the voltage capacity is before installation. You will fry the motor if you install the wrong component. What is the maker of the motor and or model?

you just need a remote switch I would talk to someone at radio shack. If you just go with a toggle get a simple switch for the voltage and amperage and connect the red positive the white and black negative. You need to get a power rating though.

it won't. projector monitors are surprisingly good and the sunshine shouldn't bypass by way of it. the monitors are made to replicate the sunshine so it will be brighter and much less puzzling to make certain. as quickly as we had one set up on the circuit city i used to artwork at, you need to not see the sunshine at the back of the exhibit.
