Why do men, no matter how unattractive, or how "bad looking", still think they can get a supermodel? And even though theyre not gorgeous themselves, still pass judgment on women and think that they have to measure up to their standards, which are looking like a supermodel. i have never met one man who hasnt been like this.

Well first off, not all guys are like that. Boys are like that. But thats where you're problem is starting. You may be attracting the lesser mature bunch. Some women do that b/c they mistake "sweet and harmless" for "immature child". Either way, to answer your question: Its self esteem and the fact that there are MANY more good looking women than men b/c we actually take care of ourselves and take the time to "look good" unlike some guys so its more common to see a good looking woman with an "ok" guy. A lot of guys feel if they have an attractive gf, it makes them more successful, more of a man, more powerful, more...endowed. They're stupid. Their compensation and putting other women down is their way of making themselves feel better about themselves. They're bullies; putting others down b/c they themselves know they're shallow, small and the opposite of a catch. Don't waste your time. A lot of the time, this mentality might be followed by hidden bitterness or aggression towards strong women or women in general..so watch out. =)

Well i've seen the most ugliest guys get the most beautiful girls. So even if these guys are not living up to their standards as you say they are still getting girls. Their confidence is not misplaced many girls don't care about looks only a mans confidence. Iv'e also seen the ugliest girls bad mouth my friend who is about average looking. It's a mutual phenomenon believe me. Girls and guys do it to pass time or to make up excuses for why they wouldn't ask these people out. I used to be just like that....but i'm a good looking guy, and I would try to fine flaws in the pretty girls my friends and I were checking out or even girls I was friends with. I would find a minor flaw then say something dumb like "look at her butt it's way to big , I don't date freaks" because I was scared if i asked her out i would get rejected because she was pretty. I believe it's the same way for girls too. People are just intimidated by good looks give em a break.

It is their nature, most men judge by looks unlike women. I do admit I sometimes do as well. However I am realizing the women had it right all along. Just think how Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. felt. Personality is better than looks.

Thats a little harsh not all men go for the more attractive women. And still calling people unnatractive is mean i bet your not so perfect when it comes down to it. I for one dont care about looks. But if women just let go or men do. This would be one dirty,ugly world.

Ya, I hear you. The truth is, they probably can't get anyone. They pass judgement saying that the girl is not up to their standards even though they couldn't get that girl either. Seems like just a way to cover up, the fact, that they cannot get a date.

SO TRUE. I really wish I knew. I know guys who are soooo ugly, but they talk trash about any girl that isn't a gorgeous size 3 with huge boobs. It's ridiculous. Women aren't that way...why are men?

i agree! one of mah ex boyfriend would tell me all the time i needed to lose weight and i wasn't all tha good lookin' and he was 'bad lookin' ! Maybe its cause they can show off to their friends that they have super hot girlfriends! lols
