I applied for a job back in the summer, and an interview in Sept. Got a letter a week later saying they where seeking other candidates. Since then the same job has been reposted. If I where to reapply for the same position, is that ok?

There's nothing unprofessional in it. However, rejected applicants in most cases are no longer entertained. Sometimes they even include in their post/ads the phrase "previous applicant need not apply", if this phrase is not written on their ads, then, there is no harm in trying if you really like the job and the company otherwise you will never find out.

Best of luck to you

It never hurts to reapply if it's still a job you want!

However, be advised that you really need to do something DIFFERENT this time as you were rejected last time and they'll reject you again if you give them no reason not to.

Try jazzing up your cover letter, retargetting your resume, and you'll likely need to mention in your letter that you "saw the ad and had previously applied but were still interested, thinking that, after learning more about the job, that your X, Y, and Z skills would be a good fit for them" or something. : )

Hope this helps! : )
