Did anyone else watch this? I mean thank goodness for DVR cause I watched it like 20 times and although Mike Waltrip disagrees he drove through the other Skinners pit and messed up his pit sequence. Should skinner be punished for his truck owners actions? Doubt they will do that but they could doc him owner points maybe?

Beth, Mikey was calling the race from the booth. I think he was trying to say....Harvick drove through Skinner's pit, and messed him up, which actually, Harvick had little to do with messing up Skinner's pit stop. The jackman was waaayyy late in going around the truck, thus catching his own foot in the air hose, and slowing himself down even more. Maybe Harvick should be penalized, but it would do no good. Harvich could care less about points, since he is no where near the front in points in the NCTS. You really can't take points from Hornaday, since it wasn't Hornaday that stopped short of his pit box, and also ran through Skinner's pit (which Harvick was allowed to do as per NASCAR rules).

Yes, Skinner was ticked to say the least, but I can see Johnny Benson's point in going after that position, since it moved him up into 5th in the points.

I know exactly what you are talking about. Truly a dirty move because Hornaday is not talented enough to beat Skinner fairly.

To JG Race: the reason Skinner's jack man was waayy late, as you said, is because Harvick almost ran him over - he had to jump out of the way to not get hit by the 2 truck. This is what I have come to expect from Harvick though, his actions were not surprising.

1st of all I did see that but I don't think it was that bad. the pit space before skinners didn't look like it was occupied and he is allowed to go through the pit before his if there is no one in it to get to his space.
2nd of all why would you pay any mind to what any Waltrip says to begin with?
He is a network puppet like his brother. DW hated the chase and voiced his dislike strongly one day the next day it was OK. Change of heart or force my guess force.
I have an uncle who is a pro bowler and he had to go to a school to learn the what you can say and what you can't say. He says any sport where the camera is you have to attend the school my guess this is no different.
Especially with MW cause he sure isn't a driver.

Hey, I'm over here in Phx at the track, hey thats what team mates are for, but Benson sure did not help his team mate Skinner at all.. If I were Skinner I'd be pissed., from what I just heard he is real pissed off. .Hey its going to be great next week in Homestead, Hey I'm a Hornaday fan.. I'm going to have to go back and re-watch the pit thing you are talking about , but I doubt anything will be done about the pit thing..I've never been much of a truck fan but these dang races are great I'm going to have to go to more of them..

You might want to take a deep breath and rephrase that question.

Who is the other Skinner?
What was Mike Waltrip driving?

Thanks JG, I get it now.

Ed's right. The "team" concept only goes so far.

If it was intentional, it was really a slick move! Homestead should be a hoot!
