I'm sure you are both worried and nervous about the lump, and he's probably nervous and tense about the whole thing too. His reaction is probably more from the anxiety of the whole thing than the lump itself.
Please update with a comment if you have a chance when you find out about it! All the best wishes and prayers are with you and your son.

It may if the sudden change in behavior coincides with the appearance of the lump. If it is something (cancer or lymph or something) that makes him feel ill, more fatigue, restless, etc. it more than likely has effected his mood. There will probably be no permanent damage to his mind, but he just may not being feeling well, depending on what the lump is. Just try to be understanding and do your best to help him rest etc. Say a prayer and mention his behavior change to your doctor.

Is your son in daycare?
Has there been any major changes in your lives recently, like moves, a death, a birth etc?
There can be lots of reasons for this change in attitude and behavior. It could be frustration on his part. It could a playmate that is influencing him.
I don't a hard lump on his arm would have an influence on his behavior unless it is caused by systemic illness

Have you asked him if it hurts?
Where on earth is getting " I will kill you"???
Be careful what he's watching on tv, I hope everything turns out ok.
He's old enough for you to talk to him, try getting him to talk a little more, ask him what's wrong, does the lump hurt? Ask him if he knows how it happened.
You would be surprised just by talking more.
Good luck, I hope he's ok, just keep showing him positive love and don't let him see anything evil on tv.

If the lump is sore it could be preventing him from sleeping well, or he could be confused about it. Maybe thats why he's acting strange?

Maybe the bump hurts him and he doesn't understand. He could just be showing anger instead of saying that it hurts him, because he is a little confused.
