Ok, can someone introduce me to PSP homebrew?
I know little about and I would like to know more.
What is bricking/unbricking?
What is custom firmware?

homebrew is programs made by players and not sony.
those programs include emulators, downloadable psp games,
change the waves on the background and the theme.

bricking is when you turn on a psp but nothing comes up the black screen and then shuts down by itself.
this happens when you try to upgrade but get bored and think you can do it later.
but no.

you can unbrick by putting a psp battery that has been programed with some homebrew program by a homebrew compatible psp.

a custom firmware is a firmware that lets you run homebrew on the psp. sony firmware dosent let you so you have to hack the psp in order to install it.
this is one of the main reasons psps get bricked.
but its worth the danger

Custom firmware will allow you to play images of the games (ex, downloaded from internet) and run homebrew applications
Bricked PSP is when someone screws his PSP by running inappropriate homebrew, didn't follow instructions during custom firmware update.

I have a psp, i don't know much about it, but some of the features (if thats what your looking for) include internet, game sharing/downloading, etc. Also, a few good games are Killzone: Liberation, Gurumin: a monstrous adventure, and Monster Hunter: Freedom.
