I'm defintely not asking to have my answers chosen as I know how much you love them. But there's many intelligent people of faith who have some very good answers but are ignored by your "network".

FYI: I don't give any of you who answer my questions a thumbs down. That would be pathetic.

Lol, please have a sense of humor. The "ingrate" part was due to your lack of "gratitude"--I was not serious.

Gimme a break! I've only asked three questions the entire time I've been here!
I have many dear friends and contacts among various faiths, however: Does that count?
[Edit] A thumbs-down? I guess it DOESN'T count, then.
[2nd Edit] Nah, I didn't figure you did, Kerri. And I actually laughed when I saw it! Some people will thumbs-down anything.

I am not an Atheist, but I am not anything so don't worry. The only bit of advice I can give you is this: If you are Polytheist then you believe in at least the idea of a God, Mother Nature, or Higher Being. Let's just go ahead and say we'll assume that this is an Entity that cares about us (this rules out Deism and the sort) considering it at least took the time to make us and give us a place to live. So if this Entity is powerful enough to do all of this, then don't you think that if you prayed to (or asked, whatev) for whichever or whatever one the REAL God is to reveal it's existence to you and how to interact with it, that it would be powerful enough to do so? It never hurts to try...

All the time - those who earn it. But then I don't ask too many questions. I look at the answer, not who gave it, so I don't usually know what the person's beliefs are, unless the question made that clear.
EDIT - Ummm, looks like most of the people who answered you are open minded - atheists and christians alike - so what type of point are you trying to make??
Nice assumption on your part, Kerri - apparently you are NOT reading what people are saying here. I could care less your religion - I care about the answer only. Seems almost everyone said the same thing.

Yes! I give it the best answer. I even give thumbs up to non-atheists as long as the answer is not slander or preaching. I don't judge on religious beliefs, race, gender, etc. It is the answer i look at and nothing else.
Please do not call atheists ingrates, that isn't very nice and not very christian of you! There are good and bad in all religions, races, etc.

If I see someone who understand the limitations of religion, and doesn't wear their religion on their sleeve then of course I will.
Example:
I have a good friend who is a devout Catholic. He believes in the right of Choice. He feels his church is wrong in many instances, and lays a lot of guilt on people. Nevertheless, he smiles at me when he leaves for mid day mass.
He'd never force his religious views on anyone.
Some are blinded by their religion. I call them zealots. The most narrow minded kind of people in the world. Doesn't matter if its religion, politics, or nationalism, they have a one size fits all attitude which is a basic communist principle. Individualism is not part of their belief.
Peace
Jim

Of course. The point of the "Best Answer" is to give the person who answers the question best the points. I don't ask questions so that people agree with me. I'm no troll.

I am a Christian, and atheists have given me "best answer"
points. I have also given atheists "best answer" points.
What were you saying about who was open-minded and who was not?
It is never wise to generalize. You always end up being wrong when you do that.

I don't ask many questions, but I recently asked two questions to Christians and gave Christians the best answer for both.
