Hair is most prone to tearing when it is wet.

Use a wide toothed comb when your hair is wet. Start at the bottom & work your way upwards to remove any tangles.

It isn't good to use a brush to brush your hair when it is wet, and a comb should be used. HOWEVER with curly hair I understand not being able to get through the hair with a normal comb. That is why I use and reccomend to you a wide toothed comb that way you get your tangles out and still aren't putting the harm of a brush on your hair.. They are inexpensive and come in all sorts of varieties.

Brushing your hair when its wet does something bad to it .. i know that . im not quite sure but i read it in a book.

And since you have curly hair you should never brush your hair with a brush ever . Even when its wet , just use fingers.

And for those tangles , use a spray that takes them out . And rub your fingers through , GONE!

When hair is wet it is at its weakest point. So..when you brush it wet it causes it to break easily. I had a very hard time getting my hair untangled when it it dry also. What I have found that works is, use a alcohol free mousse after washing to help soften your hair. Or you could try a leave in conditioner...and if you just HAVE to comb it...get a large toothed comb which is best to use on a wet head =)

It is more prone to breakage when wet. Use a large wide tooth comb and gently comb out knots and tangles, but try not to pull on your hair. A little leave in conditioner/detangler will be helpful

I know what you mean. I have short hair and it has a slight wave to it. So to make my hair less of a tangle I use a WIDE tooth comb. Make sure its wide, lol. And brush through it once.
Don't over do it.

Never use a fine tooth comb, a brush etc
Your hair will be prone to split ends and damage.

Purchase a detangling spray. This will help when you are brushing your hair even if its dry. Wet or dry this is a good product. I use detangling spray, or detangling conditioner. Some conditioners actually contain detangling ingredients.
