I think the reason that SOME people hate SOME Muslims is because some Muslims don't know how to practice their faith without infringing on the freedoms of others. Islam and Christianity both have a "We're right and everyone else is wrong" mentality that is not only strong throughout the communities, it's TAUGHT to children and grows with each generation. People want to be able to believe (or not believe) whatever they have concluded is the truth. And they don't want to be looked down on, degraded, or damned for the choices they made.

If I want to disrespect islam, I will do just that. It's called freedom, which is something in short supply in many islamic countries. Do not disrespect my right to free speech!

To tidy this up - I don't hate muslims. I have some muslim friends after many years living in the Gulf. That said, I cannot respect anyone who believes in an imaginary god and I cannot accept the death and destruction perpetrated by, in the main, muslims in the name of their deluded religion.

It IS time religion was deleted from the human condition. I made MY contribution to that over 50 years ago, realising then that all gods were man-made inventions. Isn't it your turn now?

There are many very good reasons why people should hate Islam as it represents the antithesis of goodness with a total absence of love and charity for others. As long as Islam is not isolated from the world their will never be peace but the spread of hatred through the murder of innocents and the helpless. However, as a Christian I am forbidden to hate those who are lost in the deception of the evil religion of Islam and I must pray for their deliverance and that they may be saved by our loving Father. May the Lord have mercy on them even though they represent the face of evil in the world.

Maybe...

Because of the few muslims that has gone bad... and made it to the international news. They generally painted an idea of what muslims are... and it's not a good picture.

I also believe that fundamentalist muslims are not helping us see the truth of what Islam is all about.

their is no good reason to hate anyone whether they are false in their beliefs or not . Many good people have semi deluded beliefs but this is not a sufiecient reason to hate them as people . I don't hate Christians or Hebrews either even though reason of knowledge forces me to be atheistic.
If you respect others you might not alienate them and they may learn what modern knoweldge has to offer.

I don't allow my country's leaders to tell me who to hate. In other words, I'm an American who has no trouble with Muslims. It never made sense to me to allow some stranger make your enemies for you--and give you reasons that constantly change depending on what lie he's covering up.

Its obvious that muslims hate other people, they are involving everyone who isn't muslim in their suicide bombs. Muslims want to kill everyone. But do they ever question...Do these people around us want to die? No they don't question it....They just take upon themselve to commit suicide and kill everyone else around them.... Muslims are selfish.
