No. 85% of Iraqi oil is under contract to Compagnie Petrol De Francais, a French firm. The reasons we launched offensive military operations are contained in the source below. It is the link to the Congressional Authorization for those offensive operations.

Yes, in the sense that it was about setting up the pieces for control of the middle east and Caspian Basin oil fields. You can read about it in the PNAC document "Rebuilding Americas Defenses" (google it) They lay it all out right in that document, that the United States as the sole remaining super power must destroy all regional powers and control as much Oil as possible to maintain that status.

Well, oil was a part of it. Another part of it has to do with the old notion of expansionism and opening markets; another with military strategy.
The US tried the same strategy with Iraq that they employed with the Saudis, but Iraq didn't want to play ball... ergo Desert Storm and two terms later, a full fledged war.
There's a long history of policy development by high-ranking, long standing members within the rep. party whose aim was best expressed by Reagan when he said it was time to "implement a new world order."

Oil motivated? As in getting more and driving down the price of gasoline? Obviously not. So there must have been another reason. Now think, maybe you'll figure it out.

Yes. Israel wants to control the region, so they use the USA to do their dirty work. The Zionist oil barons that run the USA are in cahoots with the Israeli government. Ultimately the American people lose.

don't know, don't care. if it wasn't, ok. if it was, great. we need the oil. if our country had no oil, our economy would shut down and you would be in the poor house...and not the American poor house with cell phones, cars, and cable tv. we're talking about the third world poor house. no heat, no communications with people unless you walk to see them, very little food. learn to hunt and grow your own food. war for oil? go for it!

No, of course not!
USA invaded so the women of Iraq could wear miniskirts and be allowed to vote.

Democracy!
You must remember what democracy was right?

Maybe you have heard your parents talking about it in hushed tones late at night.
