The Stuttering Foundation of America's book "Self Therapy for the Stutterer" is online at http://www.mnsu.edu/comdis/kuster/Therap...
This is the book that helped several of my uncles and cousins who couldn't go to a speech therapist who specialized in treating stuttering. They said that they had to work through the book and practice rather than just read the book.
You can also find online videos showing therapists working with people who stutter at www.stutteringhelp.org

I don't know about exersizes per say but i work with children and when one of my younger ones like three or so is stammering a lot i make them slow down and think carefully about what they are trying to say before they speak they tend to get so excited they open their mouths to speak before they are done thinking the thought. Be very deliberate about your speech. Hope this helps

Speech problems are very common so don't worry about it and you will get by,....reading exercise is the best..........do a lot of the tongue-twisters, small reading articles, tape your voice, listen to it, then again move on, do more of the vocabulary exercies on related words, similar sounding words, and speak in front of the mirror, do some small speeches on any topic and you will find out you are doing well..ok>good luck!!!

Some say reading poetry helps. Though personally Ive never had the difficulty. I did go to school with one boy who did and like the other person suggested who works with kids in this situation thinking before speaking helped him big time so did him getting older and growing out of it some. As a Junior in High school he spoke clearly and perfectly. So take your time and good luck I know you can do it!
