The Lord did not condemn the woman caught in adultery.

They that have no sin should cast the first stone. Woman, where are your accusers? Neither will I condemn you. Go and sin no more.

The man should have been brought forth with the woman. The old men around The Lord when he knelt to write in the dirt knew they were the ones who entrapped the woman in the first place. They were each as guilty of violating that woman as the man who was caught with her. They all got a brief glimpse into how forgiving a God that rules the universe.

The story can be found in the Gospel of John Chapter 8
