In the sense that any "gods" are alive. They are archetypes, which represent different types of human beings, at first they were the "ideal" then people got bored and turned them into soapoperas. It was a way of explaining nature and the unexplainable--just like any religion still existing today. Do they have power? As much power as you believe they do, and as much power as your own mind has. The mind is a very powerful thing, and if you believe something perhaps in some way like "gods" they do "live". If not to anyone else.

As a matter of fact I do. I know full well that Zeus, Hades, Hera, Artemis and the rest are alive and well in Greece, as well as with those of Greek descent who alre loyal to them. The worship of the ancient deities has been on the rise in Greece for many years, one study placing the figure at somewhere near one million Greeks currently worshiping their true ancestral deities.

There is only One God, and those idols they made and illussions that created more error and more time for us to be stuck here dealing with more evil than we ever had to. Yet not even one of them could save whatever it is they where supposed to have been created from, poof to dust they go, some god, what a joke!
