uhm, ew!!!!
Well marriage is nothing but a piece of paper.
But what I was taught at school is it prevents spread of STD, because if both people are virgins then you cant have STDs.
I find that dumb, but I think the real reason is because its morally wrong if you arent serious about the person.
So I think you should be married, or just with that person a long time, like, practially married. (common law)
But if you've only known them like a week than thats discusting!!! GAH!

Do you think children should be without both parents in the household? How about do you think a child should be murdered because niether of the parents want a child or want to pay child support to the other? And what about the fact that the only form of birth control that is 100 percent effective is abstinance? What about the connection that is formed and then broken so both parties lose a piece of themselves? Just some Moral thoughts and beliefs :).

It is up to the person, those who say you are wrong for doing it because "god" say so should just let everyone answer for what they may belive in...

I don't believe in it because if a guy gets a girl pregnant and they are not married and the guy doesn't pay for the child they can go to jail. And I think that you can depend on your partner more if y'all are married. There is more of a commitment. Well ya that is my opinion!!!!

I am not religious, therefore, I don't support the process of marriage.
I believe in waiting for sex until you know you are mature enough to handle it.

My personal opinion is go for it. But I have to consider the fact that when I die will answer to an Almighty God. So then I have two choices; the first is to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season and contract STDs or have a child I do not want to support, knock some random whore up that I want nothing to do with, etc...or two serve God, only ever be with one lady, never have to worry about STDs, have children with the lady of my dreams, have a happy marriage, etc....oh yeah...when God says to me Why didn't you keep yourself pure? I will say I did. There is something that eases me when I go to sleep at night knowing that I fear God and obey His commandments.

I'm not going to have sex before I'm married, but I think other people should do what they believe as long as they are safe.

i wonder how gay people feel about this question...
anyway, i believe it is up to the individual. If they want to wait until marraige, that's fine. If they're going to wait until 'the moment is right', that's fine. If they want to live life to it's fullest (i think you know what i mean), that's fine too. Personally, I think I'm going to wait until marraige. But if i decide never to get married, who knows ; ).

I think that it is wrong. I would never do it.. Many people these days just don't hold the morals that used to have been held in the past. It disgusts me. If I were to get married someday, I would much rather prefer getting married to somebody who is a virgin.. And I am not religious, in case that is what you are thinking.

I think it's alright as long as the person knows of what they are doing and can take any responsibility of that action. And also, if they are in love, I believe it is okay.
