where is the blue hell do you find frozen popcorn?...

..but it's interesting that you asked that ? ..I decided to do a search and I was shocked by the first result....

I can't imagine why it would, the thing about popcorn is it pops when the moisture inside of it comes to such a high heat that it bursts the shell of the seed wide open. In order for it to do this it has to go through a process that turns it (the moisture) to steam. Therefore it stands to reason that all frozen popcorn would do is take a little longer to cook, as it has to heat up and thaw out first.

Better corn pops more. If you're popping "old style" in oil, try different kinds of popcorn and see what they yield. Orville Redenbacker's original loose corn in bottles was quite excellent, with only 1-2 unpopped kernels per batch.

One trick that seems to help is heat only 2 kernels in the oil, until one of them pops, then dump in the rest. Carefully of course, hot oil burns.

Good question not sure kind of intrested to konw my self. But seems like it might be soggy after popping it?

You're supposed to soak the kernels in water for 30 min or more; drain them, and then freeze them; supposedly it works; I've never tried it.
