What type of flower is this, i am just curious because they are growing everywhere in my yard .

I can't tell you the exact species, but it's a type of speedwell (Veronica sp.). You might be able to narrow it down by seeing which species are native to your area on this link: http://plants.usda.gov/java/nameSearch?keywordquery=speedwell&mode=comname&submit.x=9&submit.y=8 I already have it to the correct genera for you.

Here's an alternate link: http://www.enature.com/home/ Just enter your zip coce, then on the second page, go down to the "results" box and click on "wildflowers" (it starts with birds). This is a great way to learn your local wildlife.
