its like brown outside and it tastes sweat like some sort of nut. my mom bought it yesterday & she had to cut it out but she doesnt know the name of it! so weird, but ya.. does anyone know what it is called?

If it had a hard shell, it probably was a nut. It may be a fig if it had a softer outer covering. It's difficult to tell with this kind of description.
How big is it in its original state? You're gonna have to tell us more about it in order to figure out what it is. Better yet, look online for pictures of fruit and nuts. There has to be a catalogued site for fruits, nuts, and berries... ?? Try this: http://www.thefruitpages.com/

Is it small or big?If it is big,it might be a coconut.But coconut is soft and white inside with juice!And it doesn't taste like nut.Did you eat the whole thing or just inside?Btw,some coconuts are white outside,some are green???I also don't know!!!
