Which would you choose, and why?

If you chose reincarnation, would you come back as an animal, or as another person?

What kind of animal, or what kind of person?

...and no, I'm not baked...

Sorry, by surrendering to the void, I mean choosing to become one with the universe (/) God (/) whatever you think lies beyond the physical dimension.

I gotta add: This is hypothetical of course. Non-answers are lame. It shouldn't be so hard to think hypothetically. Sorry if this questions offends you. No wait...I'm NOT sorry! *nya*

Is "surrendering forever to the void" a euphamism for something else?

Either way, reincarnated as an turtle.

Can I reincarnate now and do the void thing later?

Logically the only thing possible is evolution created by God as a blessing and mercy for you to find because we are curiouis. Adding that we will be brought back to life all of us from that are not prophets are still in ashes on the earth or in the graves set forth unto them. Burn once in this life and you will burn for eternity in the afterlife. Its about your choices and your ability to do goodness was installed by the Jedi Light long ago! Lol Grab hold man!

Here, one link leading into some video proofs on Reincarnation from Youtube. May be Science is slowly moving towards that region, with some proofs slowly evolving with logic and latest discoveries with Auras and Genes with its measurability and measuring instruments slowly becoming more and more accurate.

Of course in Sanathana Dharma (Hinduism) the highest Aim is to become One with Divinity. There it is said, "Moha Kshaya ithi Moksha" , meaning Cessation of All desires and attachments (Meaning completely Detached) is Salvation, A state of Abundance, the State of God who bring in Tsunamies as well as Rain in the world.

Sathya Sai Baba say,

Life + Desire = Man

Life - Desire = God

The spiritual vibrations produced by Bhajans confer great joy both on those who sing them and on those who listen to them. Bhajans remove all negative thoughts, soothe the nerves, purify the mind and fill the body and the heart with sweet love for the divine. As one sings Bhajans, the mind is saturated with God Consciousness and a great ecstasy wells up from within. No mental or intellectual effort is called for, as there is no need to understand anything while uttering the holy names of God and singing His glory. The singing and the atmosphere created by Bhajans takes one beyond the realms of the body, mind and intellect and helps to establish communion with the Higher Self (consciousness) within.

I'll cycle back around.

I was under the impression we don't get a choice what we come back as, or who we are around, but that we tend to come back with a number of the same people in our lives, just different roles and bodies.

Maybe someday I'd get tired of the cycle and choose eternal death, but not yet.

Well ideally I'd go to heaven....but assuming that doesn't exist I'd rather like to be reincarnated. As a human. Best thing would be if I had all my memories and the same personality as I have in this life. I'd be a child prodigy! (I'd also like to look prettier)

if by the "void" you mean the nothingness of space then I would rather reincarnate into whatever chance decide to put me in. existing to me is a must for the spirit. to become nothing failure is accepted in a way. my thoughts you read.

Do not be deceived there is no such thing and why even think of it. You think of it because somewhere deep inside you something is bothering you about eternity or what will be after death but the answers are all in the bible so stop running away from the truth and accept the truth and you will see everything in a new way.

You crack me up Yoda. {snort}

I don't believe in reincarnation. I believe in eternal life with Jesus after physical death. There is no reason to go back to this world when there is a much better place to be.
