Greetings.
Well, there is no hell. Hell is a state of mind. So, your thoughts and feelings about manything in this world, shapes your expierence of it. If you want to be in a personal hell that you have created, then its yours...marry it! Next is the fact and the truth of heaven..heven is with in you! Have you ever heard of that one? No. Please dont be excited about ruling an imaginary place like this hell. It exsist in the mind , which was placed there by Master Souls that want and have been doing an amazing job; to control Humans that dont know any other option exist. For example, Harmony, Confidence, Beauty, Honor, Respect...need I go on? Do you still think or believe that there is a hell out there or is it a place created in your own mind? There is a light in side og you that all Master Teachers have been sharing the truth about for trillions of years people...know thy Self; whis is that blazing light that God is; which is pure Unconditional Love, Acceptence, and Forever.
Until next time,
Blessings

Follow in Heaven assuming heaven and hell cannot be fundamentally changed. Being boss of an unpleasant place doesn't improve things for me. Having been both a leader and a follower, being a follower only requires being loyal and dependable while a leader is expected to make whatever happens alright.

That's what Milton had Lucifer saying in Paradise Lost, but if you take the biblical account at all seriously, Luci's gonna be in too much torment to rule anything.
But he was an angel. Believers are going to rule with Christ in the kingdom and after that... no one has more than a glimmer of what we'll be doing. There's supposed to be a complete re-creation of heaven and earth. Maybe, with the New Jerusalem as our 'StarFleet HQ' we'll explore and shape strange new worlds and boldly go where no man has gone before -- without the need for starships. I kinda like that daydream, being a Trekker from day one.

It depends.
I'd choose whichever place would allow me to keep my intellectual integrity and conscience. I chose to stick with those when they came in conflict with Christian doctrine a long time ago, so if you're talking about the Christian heaven, I doubt I'd want to be there because I'd probably have to give those up.
Thank the Gods that "ruling in hell" and "following in heaven" are not the only options available! ;)

AstugfarAllah Azeem!
The torment of hellfire you mean over the pleasure of heaven. Well that is always your choice to play with fire here and be in the fire there, surely you will only in the continous pain that you will be suffering 10,000x hotter than the surface of the sun, do you think you will have time to watch our private parts melt away everyday just to have it done all again and again for eternity to rule anything. Your nuts will bake everyday and you think your going to rule anything when your nuts are baking red hot like a piece of coal? Well have fun!

There is no rule in hell... You will be torture forever by satan...you will feel like you have died 50 million times over, but you just keep living. I rather follow in Heaven, and have peace thank you very much.

One doesn't "rule" in Hell. One suffers. Hell is also eternal separation from God. It is torment. Imagine trying to "rule" while gnawing your tongue in pain.
Why wouldn't you rather follow in Heaven? After all, the One who rules there loves you perfectly, having your best interests at heart.

There will not be any ruling anywhere. Hell is not going to be a joke to anyone, and you can laugh and mock all day long, all you want now. But I promise, as soon as you here the sound of sin coming for your soul you will not understand what to even think. The Bible talks about Hell moving to meet her victims at their coming. One day we will all give account of our sin to Almighty God and if do not have right to the shed of Jesus Christ which cleanses us from all our sin you will live in death accompanied by your own sin for all eternity.
