We don't all agree on the war, but maybe we can all agree on showing the troops that we care what happens to them and think about more than our own selfish little lives or political differences. We may not agree on why they were sent, but maybe we can agree they are there for us. Send a message of gratitude to our troops by responding to this Q, by posting on your profile or webpage, by sending a care package or letter to our soldiers and/or by giving back to the injured. I bow my head to the injured and dead, and to those who fight for all of us, Thank You.

Thank you for supporting OUR troops.

And I will be thinking of those currently serving as well as those who served in Viet Nam, Korea, WWII, WWI, Desert Storm, Panama, Grenada, Lebanon, Bosnia, Kosovo, OEF, OIF and the Cold War as well as those that served their 2-4 years and never got shot at. Veteran's Day is for ALL veterans and veterans do support our troops much more than do other citizens. Thank you again for supporting OUR troops and thank you for listing some great websites in that endeavor.

This kid on campus has a dad who's deployed in Iraq, so on Veteran's Day he set up a care package party. It's not a really good answer to your question, but I just thought I'd share.

Honor the soldiers no matter what because they are sacrificing for the country to be free from terrorism.
