IF there is no soul, then you don't have to be concerned about your afterlife.
Still, though.. you would have a body and mind to excersize, strengthen, and take care of. Educate your mind, excersize and feed your body, have healthy habits...
and if it helps a person's mind and body to believe that they have a soul and that God loves them, then they should believe.
But suppose that there IS a soul that lives on after death. Living like you DO have a soul seems wiser than living like you DON'T have one.

No soul? You've got to be kidding me. Of course soul exists. You should listen to more James Brown, Otis Redding, Al Green, etc.
Mind you, that stuff that passes itself off as 'soul' nowadays has absolutely no soul. It's just rap under a different name.
