also what if you were charged and forced to give an admission statement even if the charges were not accurate and you were innocent and never stole anything? i.e. i wasnt even AWARE i was given a public record on my SS until i applied for a job 10 months after the incident and the company did a background check on me. i agreed because i was POSITIVE my backgroudn was cleared after i paid for my mistake. (i never stole anything though, i just thought it was no big deal and didnt want to go to court). it was a seasonal job, i was only working there for 2 weeks during december. so the cost of the item was $100.i was at the register. they have a pic of me, with the two women that walked off w/ the television set w/out paying. so i'm being blamed because target thinks that i HELPED them when i did not! they just fired me. now TMSC doesnt even have a record of my termination/dissimal papers or my statement where i wrote what happened in the incident. i need help!

Misdemeanors are classified on the Penal Law according to penalties.

consult with the criminal expert charging your case, you're able to get on probation that on the top of it the fee comes off your checklist. the two way its only a misdemeanor, no longer too undesirable, i think of my grandma would have one on her checklist! LOL
