I didnt turn my back on god. I just wont believe in this religious pumbalou. "thou shall go to hell for sins." boo, I'm so scared. why would I believe in such crap? I didnt turned my back on him, I just dont like the religion.

Sounds like you believe in deity, just not a particular religion. Find one that suits you. I didn't say "find one that suits everyone else" because that will never happen. Find on that suits YOU. ;)

To be Atheist by definition means to not believe in a God, or any deity, so duh if you believe in God you are not an Atheist.
You can believe in God and even be Christian but not be a part of organized religion. Although if you believe in God, then you also need to believe in his word which is writtenin the Bible. You may want to do more research before you go around calling yourself an Atheist.

You can't turn your back on something you don't believe exists. But from the sounds of it, you said "I didn't turn my back on him, I just don't like the religion", sounds like you are non-denominational and not atheist. Atheist have no belief in any god or deity. I wouldn't worry about what they say. It's your personal choice and yours only. Only go by what's right for you.
