I am female. I know I am overweight and most would say obese. I would like to know how much I should weigh. And a good short explanation of a good 5 days a week running and walking exercise plan. Please do not refer me to websites and no nasty comments. Your opinion is welcome just please no nasty comments.

Also I would like to know how long it should safely take to lose the weight the quickest way if I were diligent. Thanks!

I don;t think there is a right answer to how much any person should weigh. You might say you want to weigh xxx pounds, but when you reach it, it might be too heavy or too light, you can;t know until you reach it.

I lost 80 pounds. I thought I would be good 20 pounds ago, but I lost more anyways....

Start a walking routine of about 30 minutes...after a few weeks try some light jogging, say 5 minutes. Keep a log and try to increase a little each time. Just get moving.

Don;t starve yourself either. Cut out the junk and shrink your portions. All those weight loss things say to do this blah blah blah eat that when you are having cravings....My advice is eat what you want but just cut the portion down tremendously. Sure it might be hard, but no one said this is easy.. However the reward is worth it.

First, I would let you know that I am a little taller but much heavier than you.

Five days running or walking, a little further every day, a little faster every day sounds like a good plan.

You need to stay away from sodas, candy, cake, cookies. Look on the nutrition panel and make sure that everything you eat has at least 10% of an important vitamin or mineral.

You should weigh (an estimate) about 120 lbs.

What might help you (I've never done this, and I should) is to find a buddy to walk/run/talk with/compete with. It keeps you on the program if you have to call someone and apologize for not being able to go walking this morning.

Best wishes, sweetheart.

you are large, but not obese. I am 5`5` and weighed 220 for many years. Now I am 145, and feel so much better. I did it by being a vegatarian. No meat, no dairy, no sugar, and no chocolate. Form a good support group around you and this will help. Good luck my dear.
