OUR MISSION IS TO ASSIST COUNTY RESIDENTS WITH SYMPTOMS OF MENTAL ILLNESS IN ACHIEVING AND MAINTAINING THEIR HIGHEST LEVEL OF FUNCTIONING.
TO ACCOMPLISH THIS MISSION WE WILL:
RESPECT THE DIGNITY AND WORTH OF ALL INDIVIDUALS
PROVIDE QUALITY SERVICES IN A CARING, NON-JUDGMENTAL MANNER
ENCOURAGE THE DEVELOPMENT OF FULL POTENTIAL AND INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY IN THE AREAS OF LIVING, LEARNING, WORKING, PARENTING, AND SOCIALIZING
WORK COOPERATIVELY WITH OTHER COMMUNITY RESOURCES
Peer support programs provided by the Peer Recovery Center is an opportunity for consumers to direct their own recovery and to teach one another the skills necessary to lead meaningful lives in the community. The Center is committed to the notion that every individual with a mental illness can recover.For some it may mean achieving personal goals to live a fulfilling and productive life and for others it may mean effectively managing the effects of their illness.
