Many scholars felt that the Secret Mark fragments were a pastiche from the four gospels, some even suggesting that Mark's style is so simple to imitate the fragment must be a useless pseudepigraphon.

Agree or disagree.

Thank you Gnostic, the writing style appears to be enough of the same as to not suggest a different author.

Neither, it is yet another example of the christians selecting the stories written by humans that fit the needs of the church.

This document was found by Prof. Morton Smith in 1958 at the Mar Saba monastery, southeast of Jerusalem. In the document, authoritatively attributed to Clement of Alexandria, a "Secret Gospel of Mark" is mentioned. Clement presents fragments from the text of this secret gospel which he claims is in the custody of the Church in Alexandria, but which is kept secret.
Perhaps the most important issue confirmed by this letter is the fact that in Clement's time "hierophantic teachings of the Lord" and Gospel texts now lost were still transmitted within the church to a select group of Christians.
The secret Gospel of Mark is gnostic and doesn't read like the original Gospel. I don't know of any Bibical scholar who would agree with you.

QUOTE: "interior the Gospel of Mark---which Bible scholars believe to be the unique Gospel, upon which all different Gospels have been based---Jesus in no way claims to be divine in any way" Matthew and Luke drew upon Mark, to boot as from a minimum of three different supplies, now lost.

The book of Mark is complete in the Bible. Nothing is secret or missing.

The bible which of times past was given unto men by inpiration of The Holy Ghost..........men moved by God to write His Holy Word..........and as Jesus said If all was written of All the things He did..there would not be enough books or places for them to contain it all............

And men everywhere have experinced things written down by them concerning thier Lifes..........so not every book is Inspired of God and written of man............but all books were written by a mans hand...........
