I'm 16 and I have my provisional liscence and I got pulled over for speeding while two other minors were in the car. The officer gave me two tickets, one for speeding and one for violating my provisional liscence, and mentioned the possibility of traffic school but didn't mention anything about getting my liscence revoked. Besides this, my record is clean, and I get good grades. I have a court date in January, how likely is it that my liscence will be revoked and for how long?

I live in California, near the Bay Area.

Ok here is the deal...

If you do not hire an attorney, your provisional license will be revoked... they were given to you based on provisions that you violated.

If you hire a traffic attorney (probably cost you around $300), I'd bet you money the charges will be dropped.

Plead for mercy. The decision whether to revoke you license dependson the judge. Show remorse, and promise not to do it again, or you could just find yourself walking everywhere again.

The license will only be revoked if the offenses that you committed are grave.
