I can fine the white Brach jelly nougats with the dried fruit in them. But these candies were soft, half pink, half white. Some called them "Frenchies". I have found some similar online but they are all from Britain.

I have been searching for frenchies also. I m 65 and we had them in South Carolina in the 60 s. No luck :(

I just looked on Vermont country store site. No go, let me go somewhere else----Well any way there's a lot of sites out there just click on old fashioned candy.
